In South Africa, a government bursary programme called the NSFAS offers financial assistance to those pursuing post-secondary education (colleges, universities, and vocational courses). Anyone who cannot afford such education through other channels, such as traditional student loans or bank funding, is eligible to apply for the NSFAS.

You must be a citizen of South Africa, have been accepted for an undergraduate degree for the first time, and be able to prove an annual family income of not more than R350,000 in order to submit an online NSFAS application for the class of 2023. It should be noted that fulfilment of these requirements is not a guarantee of acceptance into the NSFAS.

Application Date For Nsfas Funds 2023

The NSFAS application doors will be open to all applicants beginning on November 7, 2022, and closing on January 21, 2023. Therefore, applicants are requested to submit their applications by the deadline.
