Nsfas January Application 2025
Nsfas January Application 2025; NSFAS Login
The NSFAS January 2025-2026 application is an important phase for students who missed the initial application period and wish to secure funding for their studies. The National Student Financial Aid Scheme usually opens applications for the upcoming year in the last quarter of the previous year, typically from September to November. For the 2025-2026 academic year, students who are currently enrolled in a public university or public Tvet college as well as those who are applying for financial help for the first time must submit their applications and all completed supporting documentation by January 31st, 2025.
However, students who did not apply during this period may still inquire about a possible extension or special application around January. The current academic year will not allow for late registration. On the exact deadline, the NSFAS Bursary Portal is expected to shut down, which means no application forms will be accepted after the deadline. The National Student Financial Aid Scheme is a program run by the South African government that offers financial aid to undergraduate students to assist in covering the cost of their higher education after they graduate from high school.
