Nsfas For Tvet College Application Date 2025-2026

Do you wish to pursue your qualification at Tvet College in South Africa? There are about 50 registered public Tvet Colleges that operate under the auspices of the Departments of Higher Education and Training. Tvet colleges in South Africa have made it possible for its students to apply for the NSFAS bursaries and funds so students get the sound of mind to read their courses.

The NSFAS is the National Students Financial Aid Scheme, a financial hub that provides financial support for South African students. All who are interested should in haste submit their applications through their official website or the regional offices. Applicants are urged to apply on time because Nsfas will not accept late applications.

Nsfas Application Date For 2025

Nsfas online application date for 2025 will be opened from the 20th of September 2024 and will be closing on the 15th of December 2024. All students who want to apply must do that within the application cycle since no late application will be accepted.

Who Can Apply For Nsfas At Tvet College

All the Tvet Colleges in South Africa have now made it possible for their students to apply for the Nsfas funds, but applicants must fall within the following categories:

•  All South African citizens
•  All SASSA grant recipients qualify for funding
•  Applicants whose combined household income is not more than R350 000 per annum
•  A person with a disability: Combined household income must not be more than R600 000 per annum
•  SASSA recipients automatically qualify for funding and need not submit any proof of income.

What Does The  Tvet College Nsfas Fund Covers 2025

A student can receive the NSFAS funds to pay for the following:

• Accommodation in an urban area is R24,000 per annum
• Accommodation in a peri-urban area R18,900 per annum
• Accommodation in a rural area is R15,750 per annum
• Transport (up to 40 km from the institution) R7,350  per annum
• Transport R7000 per annum
• Incidental/personal care allowance R2900 per annum

NSFAS Documents Needed To Apply

Every student who wants to apply must have the following:

• Consent Form
• complete and sign the form
• South Africa Identity Document: Certified copy ID(not older than 3 months, Certified copies of parent/s or guardian ID or Death certificate
•  Proof of Income
• PWD(Persons with Disability): Complete the disability form
• Latest Academic Result

• Create a myNSFAS account
• Click on the APPLY tab and complete the sections on the screen
