South Africans who missed the closing date for submitting their applications for financial support under the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) can exhale with relief. The government financial aid organization has announced that it has chosen to lengthen the deadline and provide interested students with an additional chance to apply.
Through the myNSFAS platform, which enables students to apply using a smartphone or computer, NSFAS applications can be submitted electronically. You must use your personal information to create a myNSFAS account to achieve this.
A reference number will then be given to applicants as confirmation of their application. You must be a citizen of South Africa and have an annual family income of no more than R350 000 to be eligible for the bursary.
