Can Nsfas Fund You For A Second Degree
Can Nsfas Fund You For A Postgraduate Second Degree
Thinking of pursuing a second degree? You may be wondering if NSFAS will fund it. The answer is not simple. NSFAS has specific rules and requirements for funding second degrees, and it is important to know them before applying. According to the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS), students who have already attended college or earned a degree from a university are ineligible for financial aid.
Students who do not meet the requirements for Nsfas funding can apply for commercial student loans, Fundi, the Funza Lushaka Bursary Program, the Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Program, and university bursaries and scholarships. For first-time students starting a new program at a university or institution, NSFAS money has been reserved. However, students may apply for NSFAS if they already have a TVET diploma and want to study for a university degree for the first time.
