All South African University and college students who meet all the requirements can apply for the NSFAS funds. Currently, Nsfas is accepting applications for the year 2025-2026, therefore all those who are interested are invited to apply online now.

It is very simple and easy to apply for the 2025 academic year’s Nsfas, but since it will take a while to hear from them, you may be anxious to know if your application was successful or not. The process by which applicants of Nsfas track the progress of their application is termed My Nsfas application status check.

Successful candidates will be informed of their status by NSFAS via SMS, email, and myNSFAS account once the decision-making process is complete. To access your myNSFAS account and view the status of your application.

2025-2026 Nsfas Application Date

The 2025-2026 Nsfas applications will be opened from November 20th, 2024, and closing on December 15th, 2024, therefore all applicants are urged to apply within the application period.

• Visit the NSFAS Application 2025 website: www.nsfas.org.za/apply-2025.
• Then, you click on the ‘myNSFAS’ tab.
• Create a myNSFAS account.
• Click on the ‘APPLY’ tab.
• Update your personal information.
• Answer the questions you see on the screen.
• Upload all the required supporting documents.
