The myNsfas account is an online portal on the official website created by students who have applied for the bursary that allows students to access the website and perform and retrieve all needed information they might need. To login to the Mynsfas account, you will need your unique password and user name before the site will open up to you.

Nsfas is a South African government agency that provides financial support to poor students who enroll in tertiary schools (universities and colleges). For every student to get access to a good education no matter the financial status of their families, Nsfas through the authority of the Department of Higher Education and Training gives the bursaries so no student will be left out to get for good and quality education.

The application date open for the 2024 academic year begins on the 21st of November 2023 and closes on the 31st of January  2024. Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus disease, the application date may be extended to the 31st of January 2024. Apply now to prevent your application from being denied.

Mynsfas Account Login Process 2024

To log in to the MyNsfas 2024 account, please follow the process below:

• Go to www.nsfas.org.za and click on “myNsfas account“.

 

• Enter your username and password.

 

• Click on the “My details” tab.

 

• Update your cellphone number and/or email address to your current one.

 

• Click “Update your details” to proceed.

 

• A one-time PIN (OTP) will be sent to the new number and email address that you have provided.

 

• Enter the OTP and click submit.

 

• Your details will immediately be updated.

 

Note: Your email address is your username. Protect your username and password.

 

Check Your Nsfas Application Status 2024

Below is a quick guide on how to find out the status of your National Student Financial Aid Scheme application if you have been waiting impatiently to know if you have been accepted into the program or not:

• Log into your myNSFAS account portal.

 

• Enter your ID or username and password.

 

• Click the SIGN IN! button.

 

• Once you log into your account dashboard, click on Track Funding Progress to check your application status.
