Nsfas Qualifying Requirements And Criteria
NSFAS bursaries are available to students who intend to attend TVET Colleges and public universities. These bursaries cover funding for tuition, registration fees and allowances, transportation, accommodation, and more.
To be eligible for NSFAS funding – an applicant must be a South African citizen and come from a family with a combined annual household income of not more than R350 000 per annum (in the case of students with a disability the combined annual household income may not exceed R600 000 per annum).
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) offers fully subsidized free higher education and training for students who meet the bursary requirements. NSFAS is a government-funded bursary that receives its funding budget from and reports to the Department of Higher Education and Training.
