TVET Colleges Second Semester Application

From the 1st to the 31st of May each year, all qualifying applicants can apply online for the second semester. If you want to apply to one of the Tvet Colleges, you should do so as soon as possible because there are a limited number of spaces available.

Please note that the second-semester application deadline may be amended at any time without notice; please double-check with any Tvet Colleges administration before applying.

TVET Colleges Second Semester Admission Requirements 2025

All qualified applicants wanting to study at Tvet College must make sure they have the following available before attempting to apply:

South Africa citizen

A certified copy of your ID
Latest school results
Copy Certified of latest school report/Grade 9 or Higher
certified copies of the ID of the Parent/Legal Guardian
Proof of Residence
A unique Email address and cellphone number

International Students

Certified copies of passport
SAQA-approved foreign qualifications
Proof of medical insurance or cover
Valid study permit

How to Apply to any TVET College for the Second Semester 2025

To apply to a TVET college, you must have finished grade 9 and be at least 16 years old. Remember All new applications are done online: Currently, no Tvet College in South Africa is accepting a paper-based application.

Step 1: Visit the college of your choice’s official website.

Step 2: Fill in the online application form. Make sure to complete your application form in full with all the necessary documents

All applicants starting a new qualification are required to upload the following certified documents:

Birth Certificate/Identity Document (Proof of application for new ID/Passport)
Certificates/Qualifications
Recent Academic results
Municipal billing document/other account statements (not older than 3 months)
A valid study permit (Foreign national students)
The South African Qualification Authority’s (SAQA) Evaluation Certificate (foreign qualifications).

Finally, accept that the TVET College will communicate with you during the application process using your e-mail address and cellphone number. Please ensure that you provide a valid and working e-mail address and one cellphone number during the application process.

Step 4: Submit your application

A confirmation email will then be sent to you with all the application information.
