TSC Nated Program

The term NATED courses also refers to National Qualification Courses. Each National Qualification course was created with the workplace in mind by the Department of Higher Education and Training. NATED courses combine theoretical and practical instruction to provide students with the best career-based education possible.

You can progress toward a National Diploma by earning a grade 10 certificate. A matric-equivalent certificate enables you to begin several N4 National Certificates. You can pursue a diploma even if you earned a National Senior Certificate or Higher Certificate Pass after graduating from high school. The N6 National Certificate can be attained after enrolling in the N4 National Certificate programme.

After earning an N6 National Certificate, you must complete 18 months of work experience in the subject area of your choice. This will be recorded in a logbook that the Department of Higher Education and Training must authorise. You can obtain your N6 National Diploma, which is level 6 on the NQF, once it has been accepted.
