All applicants who have been successfully enrolled on the Nsfas scheme are therefore urged to create the mNsfas account. The myNsfas account is an online portal which allows all beneficiaries of Nsfas to log in and out of the system for them to be able to perform or get any important information that concerns Nsfas.

 

The 2023–2024 NSFAS application season will be open from November 7, 2022, through January 21, 2023. It is advised that all applicants submit their applications by this deadline.

 

Nsfas is a government organisation in South Africa that offers financial aid to underprivileged students enrolling in tertiary institutions (universities and colleges). Through the supervision of the Department of Higher Education and Training, Nsfas grants the bursaries to ensure that no student is left out of receiving a good education for themselves, regardless of their family’s financial situation.

To login to the Nsfas Portal system kindly follow the steps below:

• Go to www.nsfas.org.za and click on “myNsfas account“.
• Enter your username and password.
• Click on the “My personal details” tab.
• Update your cellphone number and/or email address to your current one.
• Click “Update your details” to proceed.
• A one-time pin (OTP) will be sent to the new number and email address that you have provided.
• Enter the OTP and click submit.
• Your details will immediately be updated.
