Tshwane North Tvet College formally a FET now a technical and vocational college situated in the Tshwane Metropolis of Gauteng is an accredited Tvet college by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). Currently, the college has six campuses Mamelodi; Pretoria; Rosslyn; Soshanguve North; Soshanguve South and Temba respectively.
Statistics show that the college has a student population of 21000 and above with a supporting staff of about 327 Lecturers. In April 201, the college launched Artisanship Development Programmes which saw 26 artisans trained in bricklaying, in fitting and turning and electrical engineering.
To make an impact in society, the College also in October 2014, registered about 40 students mostly from disadvantaged families and orphanage homes in and around Mamelodi into the Locksmith programme through a partnership with the locksmith Association of South Africa, Masterkey and SASSETA. What about Business Studies Programmes?
Nated Business Studies programmes are all-semester programmes. A semester is a system that divides the year into two equal seasons, each semester is six months long. Applications for these programmes will open soon, with dates to be announced in the coming weeks.

Unfortunately, TNC permits only one application per application period.
How do I check my Application status?

What is a trimester?
A trimester system breaks the year into three four-month periods. At TNC, they categorize all Nated engineering programmes into trimester periods.
when will I know my application outcome?
The Selection Process starts on the first day of applications and extends until a week after the application period ends. All applicants will receive a communication from the college.

when will NC(V) Applications be Open?
Applications for the National Certificate (Vocational) programmes, which are year-long programmes, open only once annually in the last quarter of the year for the following year.
Do You accept late applications for a semester and NC(V) Programmes?
Currently, the College isn’t accepting any late applications. Any modifications to this will be communicated timely.
Can I hand deliver my application? TNC no longer accepts hand-delivered applications. The college only accepts applications online.
Will I be able to upgrade my Matric at TNC? TNC doesn’t offer Matric upgrades or rewrites. No Public TVET College offers this.
Do you offer any student accommodation? Unfortunately, TNC does not provide accommodation across all six campuses.
